It doesn't depend on the selling of the tickets of that particular game. Hence this type of jackpot amount does not vary according to the number of participants thus it is also known as constant amount. This amount will always remain more than the other or minimum guaranteed jackpot. It is an extra prize amount which is included in the game. It is hard to hit when compared with guaranteed jackpot.
One is a fixed amount & other is the variable amount. Fixed amount remains constant it does not depend according to the number of people whereas variable amount varies as per the number of the people who are playing the game.
